Job summary

BAS HealthCare in Billings, MT seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) to support Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services on a locum tenens basis. The role features a 4x10-hour schedule and on-call commitments.

You will perform inpatient rounds, assist in the OR, and contribute to a high-volume CTS service with required Montana license, board certification, ACLS/BLS, and credentialing within about 90 days. Weekend coverage is on a 1:5 rotation.

Qualifications

• Active Montana license or IMLC required.
• Board certification for Physician Assistant with ACLS and BLS.
• Must assist in the OR for Cardiothoracic and Vascular teams.
• Credentialing within ~90 days.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding in a 30-bed cardiovascular unit.
• Support OR cases with Cardiothoracic and Vascular providers.
• Provide 8 patient encounters per shift across 4 x 10-hour days.
• Weekend coverage on a 1:5 rotation.

Job Details

• Full-time locum tenens coverage with week-on/week-off schedules considered


• Schedule consists of 4 x 10-hour shifts (7a-4p) with OR/Inpatient call 1:4 (4p-7a)


• Weekend coverage required on a 1:5 rotation to support team needs


• Must be able to assist in the OR for Cardiothoracic and Vascular providers


• Inpatient rounding responsibilities required


• 8 patient encounters per shift in a 30-bed department


• Active Montana license or IMLC required


• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications required
