Description:Seeking a locum physician assistant specializing in cardiovascular care.This position involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.The candidate will work in a clinic and be responsible for 24-hour beeper call duties.Call frequency is approximately 1:4, which translates to about one weekday call per week and one weekend per month.The candidate is expected to provide coverage in both the operating room and during patient rounding.Patients' cases will involve a caseload of approximately 10 encounters per shift.Surgeries will primarily include video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and robotic procedures.The candidate will need to assist in vein harvesting and be familiar with relevant surgical techniques.Must be prepared to triage and elevate cases to surgeons as necessary.Availability for at least 10 days of call per month is required.Candidates should be good team players and effective communicators.
