Job summary

Palm Careers is seeking experienced Cardiac Surgery ICU Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners for a full-time night shift in North Carolina. Requirements include an active board certification, NC license, and DEA. Start: ASAP.

Schedule features 4 nights on, then two nights every other week, 7pm–7am. You will support CSICU with 30% direct ICU work, assist with discharges and procedures, and document significant events.

Qualifications

• Active Board Certification - PA or ACNP.
• Active North Carolina State License.
• Active DEA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with families and nurses to prepare early discharges and manage procedures such as A-line, chest tube, and line changes.
• Coverage of CSICU, telemetry, new consults, outpatient calls, and H&P updates, with about 30% direct ICU responsibilities.
• No OR duties or daily notes, only brief procedure and significant event documentation required.
