Job summary

Palm Careers in Sunny South Florida is seeking a Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant for a full-time role. The position requires an active Florida license, active DEA, and prior cardiac surgical experience to support surgeons in inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will participate in exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, prescribing, and first assisting in surgery, with on-call coverage for OR emergencies.

Qualifications

• Cardiac Surgery Experience including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting.
• Active Florida license and DEA required.
• BLS and ACLS certification as per specialty.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with surgeons to provide patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, prescribing, and first assisting in surgery.
• Manage patients through all surgical phases, perform procedures, rounding, and patient education.

Calling all Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistants for a great full-time position in Sunny South Florida!!! An active Florida State license, active DEA, and Cardiac surgical experience are required. Schedule

Fulltime, Four 10-hour shifts per week. On call coverage on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends, for OR emergencies only.

Duties

Incumbents will collaborate with surgeons to provide patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including exams, diagnostics, treatment planning, prescribing, and first assisting in surgery. Responsibilities include managing patients throughout all surgical phases, performing procedures, rounding, and supporting patient education.

Qualifications

• Cardiac Surgery Experience, including experience with Endoscopic Vein Harvesting
• Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS as per specialty
