Novant Health Apple & Wormer Plastic Surgery in Charlotte is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a team of 3 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a growing surgical specialty with operative and ambulatory post‑op care.

This full-time position offers a collaborative environment with surgeons and APPs, a Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities for professional growth within a well‑established surgical group.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for Physician Assistant practice.
• NCCPA certification and current license in the appropriate state.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on surgical inpatients.
• Evaluating and managing new surgical consults.
• Assisting in the operating room, including scrubbing into cases.
• Supporting continuity of care in the outpatient setting.

This Role Offers a Dynamic Mix Of

• Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday
• No weekend or call coverage
• Collaborative team environment with surgeons and APPs
• Supporting continuity of care within the operating room including a post-operative follow-up in ambulatory clinic.

Qualified Candidates Include

• Physician Assistants (Open to new graduated with surgical rotation experience)

• Assisting in the operating room, including scrubbing into surgical cases
• Supporting continuity of care within the outpatient setting

What We’re Looking For

Education:

Master's Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant program required.

Experience:

Physician Assistant is experience preferred, but is not required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required.

Additional Skills Required:

Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
