Job summary

Novant Health Medical Group Davidson Urology seeks a compassionate Urology Ambulatory Advanced Practice Provider to perform selective medical services under physician supervision. The role emphasizes patient-centered care in a collaborative ambulatory setting.

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree, be NCCPA-certified, hold a PA license in the state, and have DEA registration. RNFA is required for NP candidates; surgical experience is a plus for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
• Current PA license in appropriate state and NCCPA certification required.
• DEA registration required; ACLS preferred for infusion/cardiac settings.
• RNFA preferred for NP candidates; open to new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver selective medical services under physician direction in ambulatory urology.
• Participate in patient assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain competencies and complete skills validation as required.

What You’ll Do

• Hours: Monday- Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-12, one day a week for hospital call.
• Supporting Locations: Will support Thomasville location as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Master’s Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required. RNFA required for NP candidates.

Experience: Open to new graduates, surgical experience a plus.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in appropriate state Required.NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required.ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required.

Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
