Job description

Penn State Health Community Medical Group is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join Andrews Patel Hematology/ Oncology located in Harrisburg and Camp Hill. This individual will work in collaboration with other Physicians and APPs within the practice providing care to adult patients with a broad range of hem/onc diagnoses. The APP will support patients undergoing in-office treatment and may participate on the hospital rounding team. Prior hematology/oncology experience is preferred, but not required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
  • National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
