Job summary

Unity Healthcare, Lafayette, IN, is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide high-quality adult and adolescent care in collaboration with our in-office physician. The role includes performing histories, exams, and treatments, with emphasis on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and is available for both full-time and part-time candidates. Indiana licensed PAs with occupational medicine experience are preferred; DOT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed to practice in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for individual patients.
• Obtain detailed history, perform physical examinations, and treat accordingly.
• Deliver high-quality Adult and Adolescent care in collaboration with the in-office physician.

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for individual patients
• Provider will obtain detailed history from patients, perform physical examinations, and treat accordingly

Requirements & Skills

• Board Certified
• A Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana.
• Previous experience in Occupational Medicine is a plus!
• DOT Medical Certification preferred or be willing to obtain
• Strong clinical background, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent multi-tasking, organizational and computer skills
• Part Time or Full Time
• Monday – Friday
• Benefits Eligible (minimum 30 hours/week)
