Job summary

Unity Healthcare, LLC, based in Lafayette, IN, is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our Regional Occupational Care Center. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and adolescent patients, and collaborate with an on-site physician to deliver high-quality occupational health services.

Candidates must be board certified, graduated from an accredited NP program, hold Indiana licensure, and prefer DOT certification.

• DOT Medical Certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience in Occupational Medicine is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for individual patients
• Provider will obtain detailed history from patients, perform physical examinations, and treat accordingly
• Deliver high-quality Adult and Adolescent care in collaboration with the in-office physician

Requirements & Skills

• Board Certified
• A Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed to practice in the State of Indiana.
• Previous experience in Occupational Medicine is a plus!
• DOT Medical Certification preferred or be willing to obtain
• Strong clinical background, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent multi-tasking, organizational and computer skills
