Concentra in York, PA seeks a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient care team. You will provide primary medical direction within the occupational health program and collaborate with clinicians to deliver high-quality care to workers.

Our clinic operates Monday–Friday with no nights or weekends, offering a base salary plus annual merit increases and RVU bonuses. A comprehensive benefits package includes CME time and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Board certification as a PA.
• Occupational medicine or urgent care experience preferred.
• FMCSA NRCME DOT certification: active or willing to obtain during credentialing.
• DEA license/registration required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient and compiles medical data and examination results.
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (e.g., x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performs therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care).
• Develops and implements patient management plans and documents progress.
• Instructs and counsels patients on treatment adherence and health maintenance.
• Provides excellent customer service and ensures quality assurance in documentation.

Subject to the medical protocols established by Association and the Chief Medical Officer of Concentra and in cooperation with other clinicians assigned to a center Clinician shall provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within the occupational health program.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
• Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
• Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
• Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
• Dedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs.
• Ensures accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.
• Ensures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork.
• Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume.

• Board Certification
