Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple Winston-Salem clinics. This role offers flexible scheduling across urgent, primary, occupational, and telemedicine settings to help patients feel better fast. New grads are welcome to apply as we provide training and oversight.

Ideal candidates hold PA certification and a Master’s degree, with strong communication skills. EMR and MS Office experience are preferred; competitive hourly pay with bonus incentives and CME

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher is required.
• PA certification is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Perform minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read.
• Interpret EKGs accurately.
• Address general dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Care for patients of all ages.
• Demonstrate emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting.

PRN Physician Assistant – Winston Salem, NC

At MainStreet Family Care, we’re growing fast and looking for fast, fun, and friendly PRN Physician Assistants (PAs) to work across multiple clinics in your region. Our providers help patients feel better FAST! Boom!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply — haven’t taken boards yet? That’s okay too!

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.

Qualifications
