MainStreet Family Urgent Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant in Forest City, NC. This role involves working across multiple clinics and providing urgent care, primary care, and telemedicine services.

The ideal candidate will have a Physician Assistant certification and a Master's degree, with excellent communication skills and emergency management abilities. Competitive hourly pay plus benefits, including malpractice insurance and CME allowance, are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read).
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)

• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care

• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
