Job summary

Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our team at a Visalia clinic. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and see 12–18 patients daily. EMR documentation using eClinicalWorks will be a core part of daily work, along with patient education and coordinated care.

• Prescribe medications and treatments per guidelines.

Physician Assistant (Healthcare)

Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis at one of our clinics in Visalia. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 6:30 pm (The clinic is closed one hour for lunch).

Elite Providers are responsible to:

• Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
• Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as needed regarding patient care.
• Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes.
• Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day (approximately 12 to 18 patients daily).
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks.
