Qualifications

• Physician Assistant License required.

• Current CPR Certification.
• Current TB status.
• Current DEA license.
• Active Board NCCPA Certification.
• Flu vaccination.
• NPI Self-Query.
• Immunization Records or Titers (MMR, Varicella, TDAP, Hep B).
• Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.
• Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
• Determines abnormal conditions by ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
• Instructs and counsels patients on therapeutic regimens and wellness.
• Provides continuity of care by developing patient management plans.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Infection-control compliance to protect patients and employees.
• Adheres to legal and professional requirements; advises management on actions.
• Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
