Job summary

Brookhaven Gastroenterology Associates, a leading Long Island healthcare provider, seeks a Full-Time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will perform patient assessments, order and interpret tests (endoscopies, imaging), develop treatment plans, and educate patients on disease management and medications.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree and NY PA license; GI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited PA program.
• Current New York State PA license.
• Experience as PA in gastroenterology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with gastrointestinal concerns.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and imaging studies.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and guidelines.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients on disease management and medication adherence.

Position Overview: As a Full-Time Gastroenterology Physician Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare team, providing comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Responsibilities
