Archbold is seeking a Physician Assistant for the South GA Surgical Assoc. to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. Responsibilities include pain management, outpatient and inpatient care, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of appropriate baccalaureate and accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licensed in Georgia with current national certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in specialty practice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat specialty specific patients across multiple age groups.
• Manage pain assessments and treatment.
• Fulfill both outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities.
• Maintain excellent customer service and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and treatment of specialty specific patients for age groups adolescents, adults and geriatrics
• Assessment and management of pain
• Outpatient/inpatient clinical responsibilities applicable to specialty specific patients for age groups adolescents, adults and geriatrics
• Understands importance of excellent customer service and teamwork
• Maintains complete, accurate and legible documentation
• Assumes responsibility for professional development and ongoing education to maintain a high degree of proficiency
• Demonstrates consistent level of performance and productivity

Qualifications

• Graduate of appropriate baccalaureate and accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
• Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Georgia and current national certification
