Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Georgia seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in both clinical and surgical settings. This full-time, on-site role involves independent patient care in clinics and OR assistance.

You will engage in hospital consultations, inpatient rounding, and coordinated follow-ups, while collaborating with a skilled team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent clinical judgement and problem-solving ability.
• Clear, professional communication with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon in both clinical and surgical settings.
• See and manage patients independently in clinical settings.
• Assist in operating room as needed.
• Perform hospital and emergency room consultations.
• Provide follow-ups, inpatient rounding, and participate in call rotation.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Proactive, dependable, and focused on delivering exceptional care.
