Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive primary care in a community health setting near Sacramento. You will work with physicians and multidisciplinary teams across multiple Sacramento locations to serve diverse, underserved populations.

The role requires CA PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and current DEA/BLS. 1–2 years in community health is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred to reach diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Active California Physician Assistant license.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health or underserved populations.
• Strong commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities.
• Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

A community health center in the Greater Sacramento area is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary care to diverse and underserved populations. The role works collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams, with multiple locations available in the Sacramento area.

Compensation and benefits

• $131,000 - $170,000 annually (based on experience)
• Full-time schedule, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM, or 4-day 10-hour shift available
