Job summary

Henderson Group in the Greater Sacramento area seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care in a community health center. Expect collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to serve diverse, underserved populations.

Compensation ranges from $131,000 to $170,000 annually, based on experience, with Monday–Friday 8–5 schedule or a 4-day 10-hour shift option. Multiple locations available in CA.

Qualifications

• Active California Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA board certification
• Current DEA certification
• Current BLS certification
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health/underserved populations
• Commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities
• Bilingual: English and Russian preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per agency/regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).

Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care services within a community health center setting.
