MainStreet Family Care in Quincy, FL is seeking a Physician Assistant for a full-time role focused on urgent care, primary care, and telemedicine. You will evaluate patients of all ages in a high-volume setting and lead a small team of medical assistants.

We expect a PA with board certification and MSN or higher, plus DOT certification or willingness to obtain it. Strong communication and EMR/Microsoft Office skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other URIs.
• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suture wounds and apply splints.
• Conduct orthopedic evaluations and management.
• Review x-rays (over-read by radiologist).
• Provide dermatology and eye care; interpret EKGs.
• Manage emergencies and occupational medicine needs.
• Offer telemedicine services; lead a small medical assistant team.
• Care for patients of all ages in a high-volume setting.

Exciting Full-Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Quincy, FL. MainStreet Family Care is growing and seeks a fast, friendly Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine.

You will evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a high-volume urgent care setting while leading a small team of medical assistants.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suture wounds
• Apply splints
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review x-rays (to be over-read by a radiologist)
• Provide general dermatology care
• Treat general eye problems
• Interpret general EKGs
• Manage emergencies
• Supply general gynecologic expertise
• Care for children of all ages
• Address occupational medicine needs
• Offer telemedicine services

Schedule

MainStreet Clinic Hours

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Sample schedule:

• Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
• Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
