Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics in Ocala and surrounding areas. You will work across urgent care, primary care, and occupational medicine settings, handling procedures, suturing, and rapid assessments to keep patients moving smoothly.

New grads are welcome and flexible scheduling is available. Prior PA certification and a Master’s degree or higher are required, with EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Master's degree or higher is required.
• Physician Assistant certification is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)

• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care

• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only)

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
