We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to provide inpatient care at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, under the supervision of the Chief of Service of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and pediatric attendings. The PA will deliver direct patient care across general pediatrics and subspecialties, co-manage post-operative patients, assess patients, determine diagnoses, manage treatment plans, perform procedures (e.g., venipuncture, lumbar puncture, suture removal), interpret tests, and educate patients and families. The PA collaborates with pediatric resident teams in a family-centered, comprehensive care environment.

Work schedule: Three 12.5-hour night shifts per week (including weekdays and weekends), from 6 pm to 6:30 am.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
• Registered as a Physician Assistant in New York State
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification
