Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers, Integrated Pain Solutions’ North Carolina division in Laurinburg, is seeking a Physician Assistant for outpatient pain management. This full-time role offers autonomy with physician supervision, focusing on patients with acute and chronic pain to improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, follow-ups, order/results interpretation, patient education, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active North Carolina PA license.
• Current BLS certification.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Two or more years of clinical experience preferred.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Manage follow-up appointments and monitor patient progress.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.

Integrated Pain Solutions, the North Carolina division of Summit Spine and Joint Centers, is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient pain management practice in Laurinburg, NC.

What You'll Do
