Job summary

ZoomCare is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will provide a mix of preventive and acute care in our neighborhood clinics, under medical leadership.

Position offers 30 hours/week (Wed–Fri), competitive hourly pay, and benefits. Training involves travel to area clinics, with potential additional shifts and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies with NCCPA certification OR Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner
• 1–2 years of post-graduate experience in urgent, primary, or emergency care
• Experience seeing patients of all ages and eligibility to participate in Medicare

Job description

ZoomCare is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team! Come develop your skills with ongoing support from our medical leadership team!

Earn a competitive hourly rate of $76.00 - $84.84 working 30 hours per week, Wednesday - Friday.

COMPENSATION

• $76.00 - $84.00 per hour; depending on experience + additional $9.00 per hour for the hours worked between 6pm and later.
• Opportunity for additional pay through shift differentials, floating incentives, and ability to pick up additional shifts

SCHEDULE AND TRAINING

• Work 30 hours average per week, Wednesday - Friday.
• Unmatched work life balance with no admin days and no on call time.
• Scheduled appointments - no staying late to work through a waiting room full of patients.
• Clinic positions require a two-week training period, during which you will travel to various clinics in the area. Your schedule during training may differ from your standard clinic schedule.
• Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift.

CLINIC LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

• Schedule: Wednesday - Friday; 12pm - 10pm

QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Assistant: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA OR Family Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner
• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience post-graduation working in urgent care, primary care, or emergency care.
• Experience seeing patients of all ages.
• Eligible to participate in the Medicare program.
• Must be able to demonstrate 2000 hours of work experience at the time of job offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Standing for long periods of time
• Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.
• Must wear a mask as needed.
• Clinical timelines and work volume / deadlines may require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
• Ability and willingness to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
