Job summary

We employ over 159 physicians and provide comprehensive musculoskeletal services, including orthopedic surgery, non‑surgical care, and physical, hand, and occupational therapy. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical examinations, compile medical histories, and develop treatment plans for new and established patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery paths.
  • Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care in coordination with supervising physicians.
  • Participate in surgical procedures and deliver intraoperative care in the OR as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Perform procedures and assessments with precision and professionalism, ensuring continuity of care.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Board‑certified Virginia State License.
  • BLS certification and commitment to maintaining CEUs in clinical practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or related fields (highly desired). New graduates with a passion for orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, respond effectively in emergency situations, and maintain professionalism at all times.
