Qualifications

• Must hold a current Physician Assistant license in the State of Maryland.
• Experience in Orthopedics or a related field is required.
• Must have a DEA and Maryland Controlled Substance license.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and document findings in EMR.
• Instruct patients on medications and treatment.
• Triage patient calls and answer questions.

A growing orthopedic, spine and sports medicine group in Catonsville, MD is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team full-time.

Job Details

• Title: Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Hire
• Setting: Outpatient – Orthopedics, Sports Medicine
• Location: Catonsville, MD (and Columbia, MD as needed)
• Schedule: Full-time, Mon‑Fri, Day Shift, no on‑call
• Pay: $110,000‑$135,000 (based on experience) with full benefits (PTO, paid holidays, employer‑matched retirement, profit sharing, CME, STD, LTD, health, dental, vision insurance)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician
• Perform complete physical exams and document findings in the EMR, establish diagnoses, create treatment plans, and order additional/selective studies
• Administer injections
• Instruct patients on medications, treatment instructions, and provide education on the use of braces or home exercises
• Triage patient telephone calls, answer questions, and provide consultation

Requirements

• Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Maryland
• Orthopedic or related provider experience
• DEA and Maryland Controlled Substance license
• Comfortable with floating to the Columbia, MD office as needed
