Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care medicine during twelve-hour shifts with a one-hour break
• Treat an average of four patients per hour, ranging from newborns to geriatrics in a low-acuity setting
• Perform bread and butter procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair
• Utilize in-house point-of-care testing and X-rays, with results available within 20 minutes
• Document patient interactions efficiently using the VelociDoc EMR system with Dragon dictation

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies
• Active and in good standing CA Medical License
• DEA Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of current urgent care experience, either on-site or remote

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telehealth services or remote patient care
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly VelociDoc
• Additional certifications in urgent care or emergency medicine
• Bilingual skills to serve diverse patient populations
