Qualifications

• Evaluate and follow up with inpatient bone marrow/leukemia patients.

We are seeking Physician Assistants to serve in various capacities within our hospital, including:

• In-house Internal Medicine Service (IMS): Responsible for the assessment and care of Internal Medicine patients under the direction of IMS physicians.
• Spine Center: Responsible for the assessment, evaluation, care, and follow-up of patients referred to the Spine Center, under the supervision of the Supervising Physician.
• Surgical Services: Responsible for planning, administration, control, and quality management of department activities, under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services.
• Outpatient Cardiology: Responsible for assessment and care of cardiology patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, under the supervision of a Northside Cardiologist. Includes providing direct patient care, overseeing diagnostic testing, and supporting physicians within scope of practice.
• Bone Marrow Unit: Responsible for assessment, evaluation, care, and follow-up of patients admitted to the inpatient Bone Marrow/Leukemia service.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
2. Successful completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program (PA Diploma).
3. Current certification by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current ACLS/BLS certification.
