Job summary

Unicare Plus Pllc in Alabama seeks a Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to join the urgent care/primary care team. You will examine patients, collect histories, and make tentative diagnoses.

You will read diagnostic tests, interpret data, and explain results to patients, prescribing therapy with physician approval. The role favors urgent care/primary care experience and requires strong communication and charting skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care/primary care team! As a Physician Assistant/ NP, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
URGENT CARE/PRIMARY CARE EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERRED.
