Pinnacle Fertility in Akron, OH is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, onsite position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

The PA will conduct patient consultations, manage fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF, perform ultrasounds and OB triage, educate patients, provide support, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires OH PA license and BLS; 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Active OH state PA license.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Active BLS required.
• Women’s health background preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and triage complex OB cases.
• Collaborative mindset within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and assessments, including fertility evaluations and initial workups.
• Manage fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasounds and monitoring for fertility treatments.
• Effectively triage cases, including bleeding OBs, ectopics, and challenging early OB ultrasounds.
• Educate patients on fertility treatments, procedures, medications, and care plans.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and laboratory staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to work independently, particularly in triaging complex OB cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and assessments, including fertility evaluations and initial workups.
• Manage fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasounds, uterine assessments, and monitoring for fertility treatments.
• Effectively triage cases, including bleeding OBs, ectopics, and challenging early OB ultrasounds.
• Educate patients on fertility treatments, procedures, medications, and care plans.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families throughout their treatment.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and laboratory staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current in reproductive medicine.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Physician Assistant (PA) with an active OH state RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Active BLS required.
• Women’s health background preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively triage complex OB cases.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Annual Salary: $105,000 to $130,000 annually. Final salary offers will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
