Job description

Ongoing Locum Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist Needed in Little Rock, AR!

We are seeking a locum Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist for an ongoing assignment. The responsibilities include:

  1. Performing anesthesia in CV cases
  2. Supervising CV CRNAs
  3. Performing TEEs
  4. Placing epidurals

The position starts on May 15, 2023, and continues until the site can hire one or two employed CV Anesthesiologists. The work hours are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with potential weekend coverage.

Required procedures and skills:

  • Comfort with TEE and all CV cases, excluding transplants, including ECMO and thoracic cases
  • Ability to perform epidurals

Setting:

  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Strong CV program

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified
  • Active AR License or IMLC

Additional details:

  • Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks
  • 1099 Compensation, housing, travel, rental car, malpractice insurance included
