Job summary

Trinity Health Medical Group in West Michigan seeks an Anesthesiologist to join our regional team across Muskegon, Grand Rapids, and Grand Haven hospitals. In-house shifts with full-time or part-time options and a compensation model designed to reward flexibility and clinical excellence.

You will provide direct patient care, oversee CRNAs, teach residents, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Competitive pay includes in-house shifts at $285/hour with potential bonuses up to $350/hour,

Opportunity Details

• Position Type:Full-Time or Part-Time (prorated on call); all in-house shifts - no dependence on home call for core compensation; broad exposure to diverse, high-acuity case mix
• Schedule:Flexible full-time and part-time schedules available with a work-life balance focused team. Call and holidays are shared among the group in a manner that creates individual hourly and compensation flexibility.
• Location and Hospital Info: Muskegon: Level 2 trauma center; Grand Rapids: Level 2 trauma center; Grand Haven: Level 4 community hospital.

  • Practice in a care team model, providing medical direction over CRNAs with the opportunity to personally perform cases.
  • Diverse general and complex case mix, including orthopedic (elective + trauma), gynecology, ENT, complex vascular, neurosurgery, interventional cardiology including EP and structural heat, OB, and full scope cardiothoracic cases.
  • Utilization of peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques to reach enhanced recovery goals with our surgical colleagues.

Requirements

• Physicians:Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
