Job summary

Hawai'i Pacific Health in Honolulu is seeking a board-certified/eligible anesthesiologist for a per diem position on O'ahu. The role supports a balanced schedule and collaborative care across ORs and practice settings.

You will deliver anesthesia care for adult surgical cases, supervise CRNAs, and work with surgeons and perioperative leadership to maintain efficient operating room flow and patient safety.

About the Opportunity

Hawai'i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a per diem employed position to join our team on the island of O'ahu.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver anesthesia care for a broad range of adult surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including both elective and emergent cases




• Provide care in diverse practice settings, including inpatient hospitals and ambulatory surgery environments




• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs within a collaborative anesthesia care-team model




• Manage patients with varying levels of acuity, including those with significant medical comorbidities




• Participate in shared call coverage as part of a supportive, team-based scheduling model




• Work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative leadership to ensure efficient, patient-centered operating room flow




• Contribute to departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement, patient safety, and operational excellence

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital.
