Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a fellowship-trained physician with extensive cardiac anesthesia experience to cover open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases in Omaha, Nebraska.

The physician will participate in overnight and weekend calls, supervise CRNAs when needed, and work with two dedicated cardiac surgeons. Board certification and TEE are required, with Nebraska license preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved ACGME CV anesthesia fellowship.
• Achieved testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography.
• Clean malpractice/background record.

Responsibilities

• Cover open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart anesthesia cases.
• Participate in overnight and weekend calls; assist with general cases as needed.
• Work with two cardiac surgeons and may supervise a CRNA.

Description:We are seeking a locum tenens physician specializing in cardiac anesthesiology.The provider will cover open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases.The ability to assist with general cases is also required.Providers will be expected to participate in overnight and weekend calls.An average of 360-450 cardiac surgical cases are performed annually.There are two cardiac surgeons on staff.Cases will be hands-on, with the possibility of supervising a CRNA.Adult and geriatric patients will be cared for; no pediatric cases will be involved.Applicants requiring a license will be considered.
