Colorado Permanente Medical Group is seeking a top-notch board-certified or board-eligible general Anesthesiologist to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and the Rock Creek Medical Office. This is a full-time, benefited, and salaried position.
Administers anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures. Examines patients to determine the degree of surgical risk and the type of anesthetic and sedation to administer, discussing findings with medical practitioners concerned with the case. Positions patient on the operating table and administers local, intravenous, spinal, caudal, or other anesthetic according to prescribed medical standards. Institutes remedial measures to counteract adverse reactions or complications. Records the type and amount of anesthetic and sedation administered and the condition of the patient before, during, and after anesthesia.

To provide monitored anesthesia care, general and regional anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and obstetric patients, including perioperative critical care, acute pain management, continuous epidural anesthetic administration, and procedural sedation, the Anesthesiologist must be able to perform:
Heart cases requiring TEE require Cardiac Fellowship training.
MD or DO, anesthesia-accredited ACGME residency program.
ABA certified or eligible, Colorado License, DEA with Colorado Address.
