Anesthesiologist, Duluth, MN

Practice specifics: Approximately 2,200 cases per month, including General, Trauma, Orthopedic, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Pediatric, and Regional cases. A well‑established group of 22 anesthesiologists operating under a medically directed care model with CRNAs. Practice sites include:

• St. Mary’s Medical Center – 344‑bed tertiary hospital, Level I Trauma Center, high acuity; new facility opened July 2023.
• Essentia Health Surgery Center‑Miller Hill – 4 operating rooms.
• St. Mary’s Hospital – Superior, WI; 2 operating rooms and 2 Endo Suites (approximately 90% outpatient surgery).
• Essentia Health – Duluth, 165 beds, 11 operating rooms (approximately 80% outpatient cases) and an Outpatient Endoscopy Center.
• Busy surgical schedule that includes all specialties except transplant and pediatric heart cases.
• Top 100 Interventional Cardiac Program and Top 100 Health Grades Joint Replacement Program.
• Certified HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 for both inpatient and ambulatory facilities.

Compensation

$595,200. Hired candidates may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
