Responsibilities

• Conduct Utilization Reviews to assess the medical necessity of requested dental treatments and procedures
• Review prior authorization and appeal cases in accordance with clinical guidelines and standards of care
• Provide objective, evidence-based written determinations regarding dental cases
• Utilize the employer's secure, user-friendly online platform for case management
• Maintain an advisory role without direct patient care or in-person evaluations

Qualifications

• Board Certification in a dental specialty (e.g., Oral Surgery, Endodontics)
• Active, unrestricted New York Dental License
