Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
• MBA, MPH, MHA, or similar management degree preferred but not required.
• Five years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of InterQual, Milliman, MCG, and similar guidelines required.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
• ABQAURP or similar certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in collaboration with the Regional Chief Financial Officer.
• Facilitates optimal utilization of resources at the regional level.
• Promotes understanding and cooperation between the physicians and Region.
• Facilitates improvements in clinical practice to achieve better performance.
• Assists Administration in reducing financial risks associated with denials.
