Job summary

Qualifications

• MD/DO licensed in Georgia with board certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical documentation improvements and CDI collaboration.
• Provide physician-to-physician education on documentation and DRG rules.
• Guide utilization management to determine medical necessity and LOS.
• Participate in denials prevention and appeal processes.
• Engage physicians to improve patient flow and throughput.
• Ensure CMS and Medicare compliance and appropriate levels of care.
• Review data on CMI, LOS, and observation metrics for improvement.
• Educate and engage residents on the Physician Advisor role.
