Job summary

IU Health seeks a RCS-Physician Advisor to bridge Revenue Cycle Services, hospital administration, and clinical staff. You will support authorizations, concurrent reviews, and payor denials with clinical expertise and guidance to the Utilization Management team.

Responsibilities include aligning with the organization's mission, maintaining HIPAA-compliant practices, and applying analytical and leadership skills to optimize hospital services and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board certification in a recognized medical or surgical specialty required.
• Current licensure to practice medicine.
• Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Understanding of clinical utilization review and healthcare regulations.
• Knowledge of current medical coding and billing practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
