Physician Advisor (Infectious Diseases or Pulmonology- US-based)

We are seeking a Physician Advisor to lead our physician outreach efforts for a nontuberculous mycobacterial disease study. This role is vital in securing patient referrals for clinical trials, thereby supporting groundbreaking medical advancements. The position involves strategic communication and relationship building to enhance Leapcure's mission of connecting patients with innovative research opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expand our outreach network by recruiting new physicians, medical centers, and therapists to ensure a diverse and comprehensive contact list.
• Enhance engagement with healthcare providers, increasing response rates, referrals, and discussions about clinical trials.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to boost patient referrals for clinical trials.
• Provide feedback on outreach strategies, contributing to the development of more effective processes and tools.
• Maintain regular communication with the Leapcure team, providing weekly updates on outreach activities, challenges, and strategies.

Qualifications:

• MD with a strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical practices, and healthcare systems.
• Specialization in Infectious Disease or Pulmonology is required.
• Clinical experience in Nontuberculous Mycobacterial (NTM) disease is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex medical information clearly.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians and healthcare facilities.
• Experience in developing and executing effective outreach strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to identify challenges and brainstorm practical solutions.
• Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to changing project needs and environments.
• Strong ethical standards for handling sensitive information.
