Physician / Administration / Connecticut / Locum tenens / Supply Chain Logistics Consultant (Remote) Job

A pharmaceutical company in Connecticut has a great remote opportunity available for a Supply Chain Logistics Consultant. In this role, the consultant will be responsible for reviewing and processing the company's global and US import and export shipments.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine appropriate import/export requirements based on commodity and shipment details
  • Prepare proforma / commercial invoices for international shipments
  • Instruct customs brokers on import entry requirements
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations globally
  • Conduct and complete trade compliance planning for imports globally
  • Log activity on a transactional basis for trend analyses, performance metrics, recordkeeping, and productivity evaluations
  • Interface with management, internal/external customers, and suppliers
  • Work closely with Clinical Supply teams to support related import activities
  • Support investigation of corrective and preventative actions as applicable
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • Computer savvy
  • Solid problem-solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of commercial/approved products logistics
