We are seeking a Psychiatrist for the role of Regional Medical Director in Oakland, California.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Medical Director is responsible for the overall quality and supervision of prescribing clinicians within their assigned region. This role involves advising staff on administrative changes, recommending measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of medical services. Additionally, this position works to align medical staff with organizational goals and ensures that the care provided is consistent with best practices and our standards of excellence.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in the treatment of adults with serious mental illness, including those with comorbid medical and/or substance use disorders
  • A medical degree from an accredited medical school (American Medical Association or American Osteopathic Association)
  • Successful completion of residency training in psychiatry
  • Active California Medical License in good standing
  • Must be at least 18 years old
