Job Details

The Department of Pathology and Genomic Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, is recruiting for a full-time, board-certified faculty member. The position is open rank and requires subspecialty fellowship training in Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology. Candidates with subspecialty training in breast pathology are highly desirable. The role can be in the Clinical Scholar or Clinical Educator track, depending on experience and academic record.

Job Description

This position involves clinical sign-out duties in Surgical Pathology (with a preference for breast pathology) and cytopathology. The candidate will participate in resident and fellowship training activities, including clinical conferences. The department has an ACGME-accredited residency program and a cytopathology fellowship. Medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.

The department emphasizes scholarship. The successful candidate will be part of the teaching faculty at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and will have dedicated time for intradepartmental and interdepartmental research, including opportunities for independent and translational research. Developing specialized expertise is encouraged.
