Ochsner Health in New Orleans is currently searching for an Abdominal Transplant Surgeon, with fellowship training or practice experience in transplant surgery. The starting salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
The Ochsner Transplant Institute has excellent programs, many active research projects, and is one of the largest transplant programs in the country. The program has an excellent regional referral base.
The successful applicant will join a cohesive and experienced team of 7 surgeons supported by Nephrology, Hepatology, fellows, surgical fellows, and advanced practice providers.
Ochsner has been one of the top programs in the nation for transplants, conducting over 300 transplants a year. Our center has a record in Donation after Cardiac Death (DCD) transplants and an active living donor program in adults and children.
