Job Description

Sanford Health is seeking a Physician – Psycho-Oncology/Health Psychology to join its well-established and growing practice at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, North Dakota. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree from an American Psychological Association-accredited graduate program and an APA-accredited internship.

The position will include clinical, research, and administrative responsibilities. The physician will join a psycho-oncology team comprising 1 psychologist, 4 MSWs, and 2 LICSWs. It offers in-patient and out-patient coverage, with no call requirement.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical care to patients with cancer and their families
  2. Conduct research in psycho-oncology or health psychology
  3. Participate in administrative activities, such as program development and quality improvement
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
  1. Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited graduate program
  2. APA-accredited internship
  3. Post-doctoral training in psycho-oncology or health psychology preferred
  4. Excellent clinical skills
