Job summary

Med Source Consultants seeks a Gynecologic Oncologist for a hospital-based role in Lansing, MI. Board-certified/eligible with at least 2 years of experience will provide GYN oncology care in a Level I Trauma Center setting, with clinic and OR involvement and a 1:4 call ratio.

Position features travel/lodging/vehicle reimbursement, Epic documentation, and a credentialing window of 90–120 days. Competitive hourly compensation and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Active Michigan medical license; IMLC or compact license not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide Gynecologic Oncology clinic and in-patient consults.
• Perform GYN oncology cases; 20 patients/day in clinic; 3–4 OR cases/day when in OR.
• Oversee chemotherapy discussions; support medical oncology transition.

Job Details:

• Full-time, hospital-based Gynecologic Oncology coverage in Lansing, MI
• Average of 20 patients in clinic per day; 3-4 OR cases per day when in the OR
• Perform clinic and in-patient consults
• Perform GYN cases as required
• Provide discussion of chemotherapy oversight, currently transitioned to medical oncology
• 100% adult patient population
• Call ratio of 1:4
• Level I Trauma Center designation
• Documentation via Epic EMR
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Active Michigan State Medical License required; IMLC or compact license not accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications required
• Clean malpractice and license history required
• Copy of NPDB self-query required at presentation, pulled within 30 days
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days; temporary privileges are not available
• Facility reimburses flights, lodging, and rental car/fuel or mileage billed at the IRS standard rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
