Job summary

Med Source Consultants seeks a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in the suburban Dallas area. The role involves OB triage, admissions, and attending deliveries, with in-house 24-hour shifts and collaboration with NICU specialists.

Board certification in OB/GYN is mandatory, and a Texas license or IMLC is required. Minimum 6 months OB/GYN experience, active practice within the past year, and NPDB self-query are required elements of the application.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in OB/GYN required (Board Eligible not accepted).
• Active Texas license or active IMLC required.
• Providers must have been clinically active within the past year.
• Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience within OB/GYN specialty.
• CV must be in MM/YYYY format with gaps explained.
• Self-Query NPDB required, pulled within 30 days of submission.

Responsibilities

• OB triage, admissions, and attending deliveries.
• Provide inpatient care and see unassigned patients with private call coverage.
• Cover the OB floor and manage ER consults for gynecologic emergencies.
• Provide surgical assists at cesarean sections.
• Perform fetal monitoring and emergency response in labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU.
• Work alongside maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancy cases.
• Shifts are 24 hours in-house.
