Job summary

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Physician (22-03) to provide direct primary care services at our Federally Qualified Health Center. You will be assigned to one primary site with cross-coverage as needed, delivering outpatient care within privileges and leading a team at the site.

Requirements include an MD/DO, completed residency in primary care, NM medical license or eligibility, board certification in primary care, and DEA plus NM Board of Pharmacy certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy.
• Completion of an accredited residency-training program in a primary care specialty.
• Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
• DEA certification and NM Board of Pharmacy certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct primary care medical services to LCDF patients.
• Provides outpatient primary care services within scope of privileges.
• Assigned to one primary site with cross-coverage at other sites when necessary.
• Participates in quality assurance and improves patient care at the primary site.
• Serves as team leader for staff at the primary site for problem solving and self-management.

Education

Job Summary
