Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tucson, AZ is recruiting physicians of all specialties to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This is a true Monday–Friday role with no nights and no weekends, offering part-time or full-time options and a focus on patient healing.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures with full training provided, evaluate chronic wounds, and apply advanced dressings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).

Wound Care Physician Salary & Compensation

Average Annual Earnings: $200,000 - $250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)

High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses

Pay Structure: Per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus quarterly bonus programs

Wound Care Physician Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part-time or full-time options:

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
• Full-Time: 4-5 days per week

Wound Care Physician Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome physicians from all specialties. Completed residency and board certification/eligibility are not required. No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
